Customers retain their statutory rights under UK consumer law, including rights relating to faulty goods, refunds, and replacements.
4. Trade-Ins and Second-Hand Goods
Trade-in values are determined at our discretion based on condition, market demand, completeness, and testing outcomes.
Customers must be the legal owner of any item offered for trade or sale. Tech Hut Exchange reserves the right to refuse any transaction where ownership cannot be reasonably established.
All second-hand products may be subject to testing and data wiping procedures before resale.

10. Online Returns for In-Store Purchases
To provide a convenient and streamlined service, Tech Hut Exchange may allow customers to process returns for items purchased in-store through our online returns system.
Change of Mind Returns
Returns for unwanted items purchased in-store are accepted solely at our discretion. Customers using our online returns portal for such returns are responsible for all postage and shipping costs.
Items must be returned in their original condition, complete with all accessories, packaging, and documentation.
Items returned not meeting these requirements will be left available to collect in store or returned at the expense of the customer
Warranty Returns
All products sold by Tech Hut Exchange include a 12-month warranty covering hardware faults arising through normal use.
Under our warranty policy, faulty items will be:
- Repaired where possible; or
- Exchanged for an equivalent item of the same model and condition.
Warranty claims do not automatically entitle customers to a refund under our store warranty programme.
Nothing in this warranty policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including any rights relating to faulty goods within the applicable legal timeframes.
Returning Items by Post
Customers choosing to use our online returns system for non-faulty in-store purchases are responsible for postage costs. Where an item is confirmed to be faulty and covered by warranty, Tech Hut Exchange may provide a prepaid returns label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs at its discretion.
